That's true. There were times when attempting to scale an impossible mountain I would finally resign to rounding what would seem like the entire range just to be able to reach the objective.

That said, I love the MAKO despite its faults (space monkey bowling!) especially in light of what alternative ME2 brings. I know it's just a research vessel but really? :P

There are few times when I actually achieve exactly what I want in regard to piloting the MAKO, but I derive a lot of enjoyment from trying to time jump bursts, doing weird maneuvers, or just bouncing around alien planets. Whatever you prefer, to me it's more of a wild card than a science. Maybe as the MAKO fumbles over uneven alien terrain, humans flounder about the "new" frontiers of space. I'm babbling. Coffee.
