Default What's you favorite mission in ME2

Wether it's recruitment or loyalty mission, getting the iff on the reaper ship or the suicide mission itself. Please share and maybe also say what made it the best one for you.

Mine I suppose would have to be lair of the shadow broker, Reasons include all the different areas you can go, like the crime scene in Liara's apartment, the car chase and also the battle on the shadow brokers ship, amazing scene if you ask me, and that great emotional touch if you have any romantic past with Liara is a nice touch as well.

Samara's and Thane's loyalty missions. I loved the part when Shep and Thane play the good/bad cop and the final fight between Samara and Morinth is just sexy.

I love LOTSB and all of its overall goodness. LOL

Next one in line probably would be the IFF mission.

IFF is my top choice. To me, that's the mission that just defines everything for the game, and Legion makes it awesome.

Also, I really liked The Arrival, despite it being short and linear. That one really did a good job of being emotionally engaging for me, and I respect anything from a game that plays with my emotions like a feathered cat toy.

Yeah, arrival was pretty good as well. For me Project Overlord was the most emotionally impacting story. By the end I was almost horrified at what he'd gone through, very sad.

^ I hear ya. Overlord definitely had a really sad tone to it and creepy (Geth Ship).

I loved Arrival's story. A lot of people hated it.

LotSB is awesome. Do you think it was an early hint at the kind of gameplay structure we'll see in ME3?

My favourite mission is the Collector Ship. It has a nice creepy build up, a very Mass Effect esque revelation about the protheans and a solid fight to the exit.

^ and the collectors ship is the first real hint that they are targeting earth. I think EDI states there's enough room in the ship for everyone one earth, or something like that. And then there's the everyone's favorite enemies, the husks.

Good point. And don't forget the Scions and Praetorians either.

The only aspects about the whole Collector thing I'm unsure about are the loose ends. Is the base you destroy (or irradiate) the only Collector home? Are there any more out there? It would be strange if that is the case because I only remember killing a hundred or so Collectord. Surely there were more than that?

The other thing is the Collector General. Does he display signs of self awareness right at the end beyond what one could reasonably expect from a heavily indoctrinated/genetically mutated slave? I confess I felt sorry for him as he turned to face that fireball.
