When autolevelling is on, what makes the weapon talents increase? My shotgun and assault rifle are maxed out but the pistol is not.

Did I switch to the rifle too early in the game? I'm using the pistol exclusively right now, but the talents don't seem to be increasing.

A word of advice. Never use auto leveling on yourself. It's fine for allies if you don't plan on micro managing them in battle but you should always level yourself up manually to avoid having skills you don't want or as in your case have a skill you want be crap.

Good idea of course, but it's only my second playthrough. I'm curious to know how the weapon skill is determined when autolevelling is on.

My assault rifle is maxed out, but I used that the most on my first game. The shotgun is also maxed, but I barely used it.
