Will there be a lightsaber type weapon? Or a weapon similar to the energy sword in halo where you can kill someone in 1 swing?

sorry to burst your bubble dude, but not in this mass effect. i heard they're makin a second one. it might be in there. but no swords in the first one.

Sometime to get my melee fix, i just set the game to easy and run in there and start pistol whippin' every soulless synthetic i see...and if you try this on a difficulty liek hardcore....well lol....ill pray for your char....
